So here's today's chapter in "Amanda's Forum Adventures." I posted a nice thought in response to Saturday's rally , and here it is along with someone's reply:

What I take away from all of this is that it is great to live in a country where this all (gathering in D.C., online discussion, etc.) is allowed. It is a wonderful thing to be able to share differing philosophies and political thoughts. I also love that we are freely allowed to join groups to fight for what we personally believe in. What a great place!

Yeah, it's awesome that people can be so wonderfully hateful. I'm sorry, I know the point you were making here, Free speech is lovely. However, I'm just not all "rah-rah-rah" about this country.
What the...?! Really?! Wow. I'm improving--I'm not personally offended this time. Just kinda shocked. And this comes from someone with a loved one in the military!
