Gone Fishin'!

Is Nathan ready to join the crew of deadliest catch?

Probably not. But we had fun anyway pulling up crab pots and catching sand dabs (a flat fish).

I caught 23 in all.

Nathan caught 16. He spent A LOT more time sitting than I did since he does always get seasick!

As the deckhand cleans the fish, the seagulls always follow!

Poor crabs. They don't realize as they take a bath in our kitchen sink that they are actually awaiting their doom!

The sand dabs after cleaning. We caught enough to eat for forever!

The crabs in the bag before we got them home and in the sink.

On Friday we had torrential rain, so Nathan and I were a bit nervous about our trip Saturday. Luckily, while it was raining in places, it didn't rain on us! It was really, really cold though. I was really glad my indecision kept me from returning the pink and brown coat I bought a Burlington a while ago because I needed it today! It's a lined coat that is waterproof and is big enough for me to have a free range of motion. It was perfect for fishing!
