Tired of It

Is anyone else sick of hearing about the great Michael Jackson? Admittedly, I've never been a big fan--it's just not what I like to listen to. But you'd think he was Mother Teresa the way everyone is talking. He was not a saint. He was a sad individual who clearly never liked himself. I think his life and death were tragic, but not worth all the media coverage. Especially in light of other things that are happening. Small, unimportant events such as Iran, Cap and Trade, Obama in Russia. You know, nothing that can change the direction of our country or anything. Sheesh.

  1. What kills me is when people talk about how much they miss him. Um, really? He was that big of a presence in your life? I'm pretty sure that all most people did was listen to his music once in a while, and NEWSFLASH: you can still do that.

Not to speak ill of the dead, but seriously. Let's all move on.
