As per Christina's suggestion, Nathan and I conducted our own mold test in the hopes that management will be willing to move us to newer, mold-free housing for free. We could move now if we wanted, but there is a $500 "relocation fee." Here are the results (Seriously, don't look if you plan on eating anytime soon!):

Haha! I thought that would help. Good luck getting out of the contract and relocated. Hopefully, you won't have any problems, but if you do, you know what the next step is. Also, make sure all of your complaints are in writing, dated, and you have a copy of them. That way, if it ever goes into litigation, you have proof.
ReplyDeleteI probably sound paranoid, but I have been renting too long to over look people's weirdness when it comes to rental agreements.
