I have discovered that one of the perks of renting for so long is I have a much better idea of what I want in a home when it is finally time for us to buy. Or, more accurately, what I DON'T want. And #1, or at least close to #1, on that list is 1-inch tile on the bathroom floor. It is impossible to sweep everything up due to all the grout lines, and the only way the floor gets mopped properly is get down on hands and knees and do it by hand. If the house we end up getting someday has this problem, it will be one of the first things on my list to go!

The Front Yard
I just bought a sprinkler and am trying to resurrect the grass. For now, it looks a little sad. Inside that fenced in area is a huge storage shed. We also have a large storage closet inside. While it may not be much to look at, they certainly didn't skip on storage, which I may quite grateful for!
