Since we lead lives that don't lead to a lot of "Kodak Moments," here's a picture of our Easter baskets. Baskets were a tradition in my family growing up, but it's not something Nathan and I have done until this year. Honestly, it never really occurred to me to do it since we don't have kids. But, I've been feeling a lack of tradition lately, and I realized that grown-ups can have baskets too. :) So here's to Year One of Easter baskets! I was wanting to buy small gifts to put in them like we had growing up, but we bought Nathan's fishing gear and had a date night of sushi and a movie on Friday instead. I'm just happy to have lots of chocolate and jelly beans!
P.S. I bought the flowers at a Farmer's Market on Thursday, and that big vase is the only one we have. I absolutely love it, but it does make my meager 5 daisies seem a little on the pathetic side! Oh well, I still like them.
P.S.S. This was not posted by Nathan. I still need to figure out how to change the name associated with our main account. I always forget to sign in under my name until it's too late!
P.P.S. Oops! I got my letters backwards and was supposed to write P.P.S. and not P.S.S. Shows you how times have changed and we don't write letters anymore!
That's fantastic that you did baskets. Sounds like you had a great celebration. Happy Easter!
