Monterey Bay Aquarium

Nathan and I had the opportunity to go to the aquarium today for free. We decided to take advantage of that even though it meant a mere 3 hours of sleep for him. He was a trooper Most are self-explainatory, so I'll only caption those that need it. Here are pictures of some of the things we saw:

This and the next two pictures are all of the same jellyfish we saw on the glass-bottom boat.

Sand Dollars

These are the really cool jellyfish that look like they have fiber-optic lights along their bodies.

Leafy Sea Dragon

Kelp Forest (It's really, really tall!!!)

Lots of little jellyfish.

Horseshoe Crab--These things are literally prehistoric!

These are called Egg Yolk Jellyfish. They look like they are falling apart. It's really strange.

A really big crab. I think this picture looks really cool. When I first saw it, I was sad that it turned out so dark. But once I looked closer, I realized that the darkness gives it this really neat sinister look.
