Employed!!!!

Just a quick note to celebrate--I am now employed! I was able to get a job with a local tutoring company. I'll make $17/hour, and I should find out how many hours tomorrow. It won't be a ton, but something is definitely better than nothing! Plus, I am still hoping to work out the substitute teaching, and I should be able to do both with a little juggling. My one concern is I am considered an "indpendent contractor," which means they don't take out taxes. I've never had a job like that before, so I'll have to figure out what my legal obligations are. Luckily, I have an accountant for a father-in-law, so that shouldn't be too difficult...:)
