Fun With In-Laws

Here's the great thing about this post: the title doesn't have an ounce of sarcasm in it! That's quite an accomplishment for me! Nathan's parents are in town for BYU's graduation, and it has been a big family reunion. Like me, his sibs followed him here for school, so all the family's here except for his missionary brother. It has really been a fun week. I have to say, the highlight was shopping--and I am not a fan of shopping. I went with Nathan's mom, Kathy, and Kathy's sister-in-law, and it was a blast. Plus, I didn't have to pay and I got tons of cute clothes! It meant sacrificing desperately needed sleep as I had to take my sister to the airport that morning at 4 a.m. That also meant as a result, I had a major epileptic day today. I was twitching like mad all day long.

The worst part of that was I had two parents in my room at the time. I thought they had seen my twitches, so I explained to them about my epilepsy in front of the class. It turns out they hadn't noticed a thing. I was pretty embarrassed. I don't like people, especially the parents of the kids in my room, to know I have epilepsy. However, in the midst of twitching, I can't think and respond to situations in the best way. Oh well. What can you do? At any rate, it was all worth it. I really have never had so much fun shopping!
