Changes

Well, as usual for us, life has brought us another change in plans. For those who don't know, Nathan has decided that joining the military is what he needs to do. After getting over initial shock (and yes, some dismay), I have come to fully support him in this. I truly believe it is what we are supposed to be doing. He is joining the Air Force. I am most excited by the fact that it is the most family-friendly of all the branches. The plan is for him to leave for basic training in San Antonio on May 26th. After basic training, he will go to California to study at the huge language school the military has there and become an Air Force linguist. I will live with my family in Houston until he's done with basic.
